With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Georgene Carstenson (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on March 21, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, George and Laura (Bruggeman); her brother Johnny; her sisters-in-law, Fronie and Julie; her husband Lyle; her daughters, Cathy (Kevin) and Amy (Dale); her grandchildren, Quin, Zachary (Kelsey), Nathan (Acacia), Emily (Andrew), Nick, Nakita, Jon (Raven), Hannah and Allie Sue (Chris); her brothers, Bernard and Jim (Daring); and her family, Patilynn, Roger, Andrea, Rich, Marissa, Lisa and Lila.
Flowers can be sent to Broadway Colonial Funeral Home or, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Georgene's name to Newton Meals on Wheels or the Northridge Elementary School library.
