He was predeceased by: his parents, Eusebio Luján and Dolores Montañez of Luján; and his sister Olivia Vega. He is survived by: his wife Carmen Luján; his children, Mayra Luján of Newton, Luis Luján of North Newton and Ignacio Luján Jr. of Lubbock, Texas.; his grandchildren, Ariel, Dina, Sophia, Isabella, Enzo, Josiah and Christel; and his siblings, Manuel, Jesus, Armando, Elias and Alicia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A rosary was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (421 S Ash St, Newton, KS 67114). A Mass was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to United Way of Harvey and Marion Counties in Ignacio's memory.
