She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Schroeder (Isaak) and Richard J. Schroeder. She is survived by: her husband Hartzel; and her sons, Rodney Schmidt (Elizabeth Kintner) of Seattle, Chuck Schmidt (Janie Becker) of Newton and William Schmidt (Lori Voran) of Wichita. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bethel College Mennonite Church (2600 College Ave, North Newton, KS 67117).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are suggested to Bethel College or Bethel College Mennonite Church.
