He is survived by: his wife Candi; his children, Jeremy Young, Justin Young and Lesley McKown; his children-in-law, Levi McKown and Kennetta Gilreath; and his grandchildren, Jacob McKown, Jeremiah McKown, Ryker Young, Amelia McKown and Audrey McKown.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Petersen Funeral Home (215 N Main St, Newton, KS 67114). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hillside Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Chammy's Equine Sanctuary, and may be left in the care of Petersen Funeral Home.
