It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John D Wingo of Newton, Kansas, who passed away on June 21, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Wingo and Margaret Wingo (Kasper); his sister Donna Wingo-Perez; and his brother-in-law Darrel Swafford. He is survived by: his former wife Anna Antonowich; his wife Rita Fitch (Enns); his children, Tom Wingo (Connie), Amy Hopper (Jim), Kelly Fitch-Klipple and Wendi Fitch-Hills; his grandchildren, Jeremy Wingo (Tierra), Abby Wingo, Matthew Wingo (Mattie), Joe Hopper, Sarah Hopper, Payton Dickey (Kayla Sparkman), Ashley Dickey, Justis Hillis (Madison Wohlgemuth), Skylar Hillis, Stephen Ybarra and Nathanial Ybarra; his siblings, Virginia Wingo-Moon, Betty Wingo-Swafford and Gene Wingo (Jim); and his friend Christian of Kansas. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
