He was predeceased by: his parents, Lamoine Bevan and Bernice Bevan; his aunt Iva June (Sharon); and his daughter Debra Mellentine. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Grey; his children, Richard (Christina) and Diane Foreman (Kevin); his grandchildren, Peter John of Shawnee, KS., John Alan and Kaitlyn of Aliso Viejo, CA.; and his siblings, June Little (Frank), Bill Bevan (Karen) and Rowlan.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, a memorial fund donation be made to the Salem United Methodist Church in his name at 115 Old Main, Newton, KS.
