Lois Porter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2023, at the age of 91, Lois Porter of Newton, Kansas, born in Argyle, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Loyd Newberry and Ida Newberry (Kendall); and her siblings, Florence Blankenship, Loren Newberry and Alan Newberry.
She is survived by : her husband Melvin A. Porter; and her children, Marla Sharp (Morgan), Newton, Valeria Skitt (Rodney) of Longmont, CO, Shelley Baker of Centennial, CO, Douglas Porter (Kim), S. Hutchinson and Timothy Porter (Heidi). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and their spouses and fiancées, 12 great-grandchildren and many dearly loved nieces and nephews and their extended families.
