He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Krappman and Theresa Krappman; and his wife Millie Rose. He is survived by: his sister Rita Galyardt; his children, Michael Collins (Ian), Robin Stewart (Russell) and Patricia Laird; and his grandchildren, Melissa Antonaccio, Zoe Wennberg (Matt), Zach Collins (Sarahfae), Linsey Foth (Jonathan), Hunter Collins (Hannah), Levi Laird (Sumer), Demi Collins, Brandon Birzer and Tiffany Walker (Shawn). He is also survived by 1 nephew and 2 nieces, 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Crossings Community Church (620 Fairview Ave, Newton, KS 67114).
