We announce the death of Mildred Voran in Newton, Kansas, who passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Claassen and Florence Claassen (Shumi); her husband Myron Voran; her daughter Kathleen Voran; and her siblings, Louis Claassen, Elizabeth Goering, Elva Unruh and Ruth Janzen.

She is survived by: her children, Barb Voran, Brent Voran (Cora) of Newton, KS and Jeanette Leary (George) of North Newton, KS; her grandchildren, Rachel Unruh (Graham), Kevin Leary (Naomi), Paul Voran (Sarah) and Megan Leary; her great grandchildren, Owen, Ivy Unruh, Maggie and Silas Leary; and her siblings, Dora Golden, John Claassen and Virgil Claassen.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel College or MCC.
