She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. Friesen and Norma D. Friesen (Siebert); her daughter Angela Huffman; her nephew Dylan Wall; and her sister-in-law Shirley Friesen.
She is survived by: her siblings, Twila "Twiz" (Lloyd Nickels) and Wallace Friesen of Henderson Nebraska; and her nephews, Lonnie, Craig, Chad Nickels, Dana, Darin, Drew Wall, Kim and Kevin Friesen.
Memorials may be made in Nyla's name to St. Matthews Church Organ Fund and left in care of Petersen's Funeral Home.
