She was predeceased by : her father Kenneth Shelly; and her brother Timothy. She is survived by : her mother June Rupert Shelly; her siblings, Doris Whillock (Arthur), Andy Shelly (Carmen) of Lenexa, KS and Kenneth John Shelly; her nephews, William Whillock (Sarah) and Greg Shelly-Unruh (Leah); and her niece Lizzie Shelly (Shawnee). She is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts be designated to Bethel College (KS) or Bethel College Mennonite Church.
