Richard Dennis Butcher Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Dennis Butcher in Newton, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 20, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Butcher and Richard Butcher. He is survived by: his wife Kim Butcher; his children, Josh Buckle (Rachel), Tessa Butcher and Matthew Butcher (Becky); his sisters, Bonny Smith and Emmie Butcher; and his grandchildren, Blake, Kieley, Annelise, Greyson and Emma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grandkids.

Donations or memorials may be made to Kansas VFW Endowment, a program that offers scholarships to students or to the Caring Hands Humane Society.
