With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert E Smalley in Newton, Kansas, who passed away on July 10, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene O Smalley and Abbie Smalley (Powell); his spouse Carroll Royston; his son Jeff Smalley; and his brother Jack Smalley.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Scott (Leon), Mike Smalley (Kendra) and David Smalley (Barbara); and his brother Norman Smalley (Barbara). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or First United Methodist Church and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
