With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald E Opland of Newton, Kansas, who passed away on May 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ronald farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ronald is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alice Opland (Wilkison) and Togo Opland; his wife Dee Mills; his sister Barb; and his daughter-in-law Vickie Opland.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Opland (Terry) of Denver, Colorado, Steve Opland (Becky) of Newton, Kansas and Greg Opland (Felicia) of Phoenix, Arizona. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
