It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Lee Dyck (Newton, Kansas), who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Vernon Lee shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Vernon Lee farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ervin Dyck and Agnes Dyck (Dirksen); his children, Galen, Sharole and Kristi; and his siblings, Phyllis Nickel, Kristi Fetty (Jim) and Galen Dyck (Paula).
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Schowalter Villa and left in care of Petersen Funeral Home.
