It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Mae Malanowski of Newton, Kansas, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Maxwell Watson; her husband Oddie Malanowski; her stepmother June Watson; and her siblings, Wayne Watson, Betty Sterling and Martha Lewandowski.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann Tareila (Pastor Terry Tareila); her daughter-in-law Shirley Metcalf (Jasper Metcalf); and her sisters, Sandra Peterson of Pleasantville, PA and Joanne Simmermon of Linesville, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts for church ministry may be given to Pocono Mountain Bible Conference 191, Clifton Beach Road, Clifton Township, PA 18424.
