He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph W. Polreis and Hildegard C. Polreis (Smith); his brothers, Gordon Polreis and Tom Polreis; and his sisters-in-law, Ester Polreis and Brenda Polreis.
He is survived by: his wife Vicky Polreis of Nickerson; his children, Katrina "Kat" Chappell (Kevin) of Hutchinson and Ryan Moore of Nickerson; his granddaughter Mia Moore; and his siblings, John Polreis of Parkston, SD, Dennis Polreis (Reberta) of Parkston, SD, Alvin Polreis of Parkston, SD, Martin Polreis (Tina) of Parkston, SD, Leroy Polreis of Mitchell, SD, Micheal Polreis (Dee) of Sioux Falls, SD, James Polreis (Lori) of Delmont, SD, Kathleen Bormann (Douglas) of Parkston, SD and Jolene Bowman (David) of Plainview, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
