It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Regis B Yager Jr. of Nickerson, Kansas, who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Regis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Regis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Regis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Regis Yager and Mary Joan Yager Sr. (Collins); and his brother Royce Yager. He is survived by: his daughters, Dodi Lindsay (James) of Cool, CA and Jennifer Yager of Wichita, KS; and his girlfriend Carol Dirksen of Hutchinson, KS. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his four beloved cats; and all the neighborhood cats.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Kansas Honor Flight or Hutchinson Animal Shelter, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501.
