She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Chrisman and Margaret Chrisman (Boggs); her daughter Darcie Janiel Vernon; and her sister Helen Marie Strachan. She is survived by: her husband Nelson Vernon; her children, Channion Marie Mackie (Troy) of Columbus, KS and Shane Vernon of Niotaze, KS; and her grandchildren, Tyler Mackie (Tara) of Sand Springs, OK, Brandon Mackie of Coffeyville, KS, Caleb Mackie (Savannah) of Columbus, KS and Allie Marie Vernon of Edna, KS.
