We are sad to announce that, on August 20, 2025, at the age of 103, Murel Aileen Davis of Norton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Murel departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Murel may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Murel leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. Everett Ankenman and Elma Ankenman (Preston); her husband Gordon E. Davis; her son Lynn A. Davis; and her brothers, Lester Ankenman (Wava) and Raymond Ankenman (Elta).
She is survived by: her daughter Leslie (Jerry E. Rife) of Trenton, NJ; and her granddaughter Whitney E. Rife of Philadelphia, PA. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
