The memory of Ruby Eda Strong of Norton, Kansas, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Alfred and Lily Rose Proctor (Gane); her siblings, Christopher Proctor, Jessie Dreaper, Florence Keyes, Hilda Hamblin and Bertha McIssac; and her brothers-in-law, John Dreaper, William Andrews, Vincent Keyes and Edward Bruce.
She is survived by: her son Glen Strong; her sisters, Lena Andrews, Lily Bruce and Velma Proctor; and her brothers-in-law, Gordan Hamblin and Ron McIssac. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home - Norton (215 W Main St, Norton, KS 67654).
