It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris E. Cox (Nortonville, Kansas), who passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bell Cox and Martha Norden Cox; his siblings, Barbara Comer, Leora Bluestone, Dorothy Moffitt, Mary Imboden and Howard Cox; and his nieces and nephews, David Cox, Ross Bluestone, Renee Dyer and Diane Bluestone.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores Santos; his children, Kevin Cox (Charlotte), Kristal Kmetz (Tom) and Suzanne Cox (Justin Oswald); his grandchildren, Jennifer Cox-Ingram, Aaron Cox, David Cox, Corey Kmetz, Justin Kmetz and Tyler Oswald; his great grandchildren, Chloe Cox, Emma Cox and Ava Cox; his sister Nancy Hall (Wayne); and his sister-in-law Lorene Cox.

Memorials are suggested to Arthritis Foundation or to Jefferson Co. Hospice and may be sent in care to the funeral home.
