He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Roy Barnes and Luana Faith Barnes (Irwin); and his mother-in-law Patricia Koeppen. He is survived by: his wife Kim Koeppen of Norwich; his daughter Sydney (Landon Russell) of Wichita; his in-laws, Roger and Dottie Koeppen of Wichita; and his extended family Roger Irwin.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Prairie Rose Funeral Homes (613 W 14th St, Harper, KS 67058). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Milton Methodist Church (1378 N Argonia Rd, Milton, KS 67106). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Attica Cemetery (1103 NW 60 Rd, Attica, KS 67009).
Memorials may be made payable to the Kingman County 4-H Council and can be sent in care of the funeral home.
