He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Petersen and Vida Petersen (West); his former wife Eleanor; his wife Alice Moore; his siblings, Howard, Jeff and Cecille; his daughter Vickie; and his foster son Dan Hill.
He is survived by: his brothers, Clifford (Toni) of Spring City, Tennessee and Doyle (Karen) of Garden City; his children, Julie (Mark) of Norwich and Jim of Cleveland, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Shelly Brown (Doug) of South Haven, Kansas, Charmin Moore (Kevin) of Grove, Oklahoma, Logan Kline (Tammy) of Ankeny, Iowa, Jared Turner (Jannell) of Norwich, Kansas, John Turner (Alicia) of Great Bend, Kansas, Thad Turner (Kristen) of Kingman, Kansas, Allison Hill of El Dorado and Bryce Hill (Lisa) of Lakeport, CA.; Cheryl Gaede of Wichita, Kansas.. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions in memory of Pete may be made payable to Wheatlands Healthcare Center or KyMel, summer camps in Kansas for children impacted by cancer. Memorial contributions can be sent in care of the funeral home.
