She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas D. Ryan; her sons, William D. Ryan and David E. Ryan; and her parents, Paul Dungan and Ella May Dungan (Chenault).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Ryan (Meredith) of Valley Center and Janet Bean (Murray) of Oakley; her daughter-in-law Laura Ryan of Imperial Beach, California; and her grandchildren, Shawn Thompson (Dan), Doug Bean (Tami), Angela Cox (Matt), Jaclyn L'Ecuyer (Jason), Jason Dean Ryan, Jessie Smith (Morgan) and Jennie Ryan (Dan). She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren with one on the way; other relatives and friends.
