It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Irene Marie Hazen (Oakley, Kansas), who passed away at the age of 100, on April 13, 2024. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nick Roths and Anna Roths (Albers); her husband Bill Hazen; and her son-in-law Brett Boys. She is survived by : her children, Jim of Grinnell, Bob (Marla) of Lampe, MO, Dick (Dee) of Salina, KS, Ron (Deb) of Cheyenne, WY, Ginger Seibel of Salina, KS, Marie Schmidt (Virgil) of Golden, CO and Karen Boys of Logan, KS. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baalmann Mortuary - Oakley (304 E 8 St, Oakley, KS 67748). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (308 Monroe St, Grinnell, KS 67738).

Memorials may be made to the Grinnell Senior Center or the VFW Auxiliary and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
