As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Patrick Aaron may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. G. Porter (Pete) and Mary Ann Porter (Temaat); and his siblings, Cheryl Goetz (Daryl), Park, Pam Schmidtberger (Leroy), Linda Butler (Mark) of Lone Tree, CO and James B. Porter of Oakley. He was also cherished by nine nieces and nephews, many cousins and many, many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Baalmann Mortuary - Oakley (304 E 8 St, Oakley, KS 67748). A vigil service was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church - Oakley (422 E 6th St, Oakley, KS 67748). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery- Oakley (3030 Logan County Rd 450, Oakley, KS 67701).
