She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. Spencer and Edith Spencer (Whitaker); her son Paul; and her sister-in-law Loretta Spencer. She is survived by: her husband Jim; her sons, John (Brenda) of Manhattan, KS and David of Lone Tree, CO; her siblings, Harry Wayne Spencer of Basehor, KS and Janice Urie of Lakin, KS; and her grandson William Frederick Miesner. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Plumer-Gobber Funeral Home - Oberlin (121 N Penn Ave, Oberlin, KS 67749). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (510 Wilson Ave, Oberlin, KS 67749).
Memorial contribution may be made out to St. John's Lutheran Church or American Legion Post #70 Auxiliary.
