He is survived by: his sons, Craig Sundell (Jacqueline) of Lawrence, KS, Kent Sundell (Meg) of Casper, WY and Mark Sundell of Olathe; and his granddaughter Jill Ziemann (Thomas) of Scottsdale, AZ..
He requested his remains be donated to KU Medical College for Science research.
