He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Bachman and Elsie Bachman; his wife Wilma R. Welch (Finney); his son Christopher; and his brothers, Winfred, Lornie and Larry.
He is survived by: his sisters, Lois and Verna; his children, Duane (CeCilia), Philip (Sun Hi), Joyce Bailey (Alvin) and Jeanette Magathan (Russell); and his grandchildren, Genevieve Bachman, Jordan Bachman (Kelsey McCullough) of Eun Mi, Arnold Y. Bachman (Won Young), Matthew Bailey (Jill), Travis Bailey, Corey Bailey (Brittany), Michael E. Bachman (Racheal), Ashley Robertson (Jason), Jessica Moore (Marcus), Ryan Bachman (Danielle Hines), Andrea Magathan and Rachel Magathan. He is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
