She is survived by: her husband John Dowdell; her children, Tanya Miller, Alicia Miller-Tamez, Lamote Richardson Jr. and Darrell Dowdell; and her siblings, Hartense Duncan, Sharon Duncan, Phillip Duncan and Ronnie Duncan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
