She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett W. Nelson and Lois M. Nelson (Peters); and her husband Gaylord F. Mayer. She is survived by: her children, Barry Mayer (Marilyn) and Melanie Thompson (Marshall). She is also survived by four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
