She is survived by: her children, Tammy Smale (David Smale), Mike Young (Penny) and Jim Young (Jennifer); her grandchildren, David Lee Smale (Rebekah), Julie Braden (Erich), Emily Young, Noah Young and Maizie Young; and her great grandchildren, Coraline Braden, Renley Braden and Amelia Smale.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
