She was predeceased by : her parents, Willard Comstock and Audrey Comstock (Storie); her husbands, Lawrence E. Smith, Robert and Holman; and her son Steven Edward.
She is survived by : her daughters, Sonia Crim (David) of Olathe and Maria Brown of Columbia; her stepchildren, Robert Holman (Barbara) of Novato and Sherri Green of Gardner, Kansas.; and her grandchildren, Aaron Crim (Heather) of Lawrence, Matthew Crim (Wendy), Andrea Irwin (Patrick) of Merritt Island, Meghan (Ryan) of Paola, Caitlin Beck (Joe) of Kansas City, Jordan Smith of Lee's Summit, MO and Elizabeth Brown of Lee's Summit, MO. She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Carole's memory be made to Ascend Hospice.
