It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Catherine L. Smith (Olathe, Kansas), born in Hamilton, Kansas, who passed away at the age of 65, on April 15, 2022. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She is survived by: her mother Jo Smith (Cumley); her husband Geff Moyer; her children, Geffrey Moyer II, Ian Smith, Kerry Durig-Smith and Gabe Moyer; her granddaughters, Ellie and Lila Smith; and her siblings, Beverly Smith, Barb Suter, Carol Smith, Colleen Heistand, Cheri Duffy, Steve Smith and Mark Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

There will not be a traditional funeral because she donated her body to science—in keeping with her dedication to teaching.
