She was predeceased by : her parents, Vada Lorene Freund and Folck. She is survived by : her husband Darren Thornton of Paola, Kansas; her children, Danielle Tyler of Gardner, Leslie Reese (Mike) of Shawnee and Jonathan Thornton (Dorothy) of Denver City, Texas; her grandchildren, Alexis, Joey Tyler, Ellie, Mia, Rigley Reese and Jace Thornton; her siblings, Mike Freund (Debbie) of Great Bend, Mary Kay Kelm (Bruce) of Shawnee, Eric Freund (Kathy) of Hutchinson and Mark Freund (Vina) of Hutchinson; and her siblings-in-law, Steve Thornton (Sandy) of Russell and Sheryl Bass (Jimmy) of Chase.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
