He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Carson and Wilma Carson (Turrentine); his siblings, David Arlen and Barbara Myers; and his former wife Lois Carson (Adams).
He is survived by: his wife Cake; his children, Nancy Carson of Overland Park, KS and David (Staci) of Overland Park, KS; and his grandchildren, Jordan Larkin (Emily Wesley) of Cleveland, OH, Bailey Larkin of Kansas City, MO, Hazel Carson of Savannah, GA and Maya Larkin of Olathe, KS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Pitt State Alumni Association, The American Legion, The Alzheimer's Association, Grace United Methodist Church, and Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome Foundation.
