Kags, Hailey Mesi W. Kags and Theo Johari Lenjo; his son-in-law Al Kags; his sisters, Dorothy Samaki Mshamba and Celine Maghema Mwazighe; his nieces and nephews, Zeddy Mshamba, Farida Mshamba, Josephat Mshamba, Aurelia Mshamba, Laura Mwazighe, Betty Mwazighe, Anita Mwazighe, Kori Mwazighe, Kori Wemo, Betty Wemo, George Kombo, Maurine Kombo, Bernadette Kombo, Kori Kombo and Daniel Peshu; and his siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Kombo, Arnold Mwadime, Calist Maza, Fulgence Mwachia, Penina Mwachia, Celestine Mwasaru, Vincent Kitimo, Clemencia Majala, Judith Wakesho and Lucrencia Mkanyika. He is also survived by friendship with his family, friends, coworkers.
