He is survived by: his wife Lu Ellen Slaughter (Innis); his children, Renee Gier (Dan) of Shawnee, KS and John Slaughter (Andrea) of Basehor, KS.; his grandchildren, Owen and Braylee; and his siblings, Mike Slaughter and Mary McGinnis.
