He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy E. Barnes and Lalah Blanche Barnes; his brother R. J. Barnes; and his former wives, Muriel, Pat and Janet.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Barnes; his daughters, Linda Prostko (David) of Middleville, MI and Valerie McDonough (James) of Gypsum, CO; his stepchildren, Brandon Wier (McKinley) of Dallas, TX and Sara Wagner (Jason) of Overland Park, KS; his grandchildren, Scott Henricks and Ashley Augustine of Warren Prostko, J. D; and his siblings, Wilber G Barnes of Lansing, KS and Linda Mankiewich of Mackinimaw, IL.. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
