He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Franklin Black and Addie Bell Brown Black; his siblings, Floyd Black, Beulah Hall, Gladys Zimmerli, Willard Black, Wayne Black, Bill Black, Doris Gilliland, Maurice (Black), Merle Black, Ruth Puttoff, Raymond Black, Opal Kerns and Alta Wright; and his son Danny Black.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Cindy Chronister of Kansas City, KS, David Black (Cindy) of Prescott Valley, AZ and Judy Harrison (Brad) of Lawrence, KS; his pet Princess; his grandchildren, Shawn Chronister, Chad Chronister, Heather Potter (Warren), Kendra Black and Bobby Harrison; and his great grandchildren, Braylee, Broderyck, Gracelyn and Layla. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
