He was predeceased by : his parents, Lee Spencer and Faith Spencer (Florea); his siblings, Helen, Margaret, William and Doris; his wife Kay Spencer (Pace); and his great grandchild Cole.

He is survived by : his children, David Spencer (Shari), James Spencer (Teresa), Debra Martens (Ron) and Lori Ann Spencer; his grandchildren, Tina, Caleb, Cori, Layne, Tayler, Ryan and Kassi; and his great grandchildren, Tessa, Taylor, Jake, Carleigh, Jed, Kennedy, Dylan, Nash, Jamison and Kase.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 26th 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Olathe Chapel (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062).
