He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles John and Elsie Sommerfeld; his wife Mary; his siblings, Cliff, Milford, Arnie and Elda; and his daughter Maryann Willoughby.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ethel Kaiser of Lenexa, KS and Verlin Sommerfeld of Durham, KS; and his children, Darrel Willoughby, John Sommerfeld of Biloxi, MS, Penny Willoughby of Seattle, WA and Kat Jameson of Independence, MO. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and friends.
