It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Esther E. Brooks of Olathe, Kansas, born in Rothsay, Minnesota, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thymian and Minnie Thymian (Math); her husband James Brooks; and her siblings, Luella Henrichs, Robert Thymian, Betty Alder, Raymond Thymian, Rodean Thymian and Marilyn Rogers.
She is survived by: her children, Lyn, Larry Brooks (Susan), Lynette Fastnacht (James), Cynthia Phelps (Richard) and Beverly Schoening (Randy); and her sister Donna Taylor. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 21 great- grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
