He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Charles Monroe McCullough and Cordelia Coulter; his wife Iva Mae; his son-in-law Rob Sewell; his grandsons, Nathan and Devin; his great grandchild Tanner; and his siblings, George, Perry, Alva, Donald, Lucille, Susie, Vera, Eugie and Peggy.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda (Lynn Adkins), Phillip (Joyce McCullough), Theresa (Rick Broadway), Twila Sewell and Mark (Carol McCullough); his grandchildren, Sarah, Ben, David, Corey, Perry, Cara, Laura, Bryan, Hannah, Joshua and Julie; his great grandchildren, Tim, Miriam, Gage of Knox, J. R., Jude, Issac, Sienna, Rylee, Allica, Jax, Alrik, Gareth, Mason, Viggo, Miles, Kellan, Weston, Cameron, Myra, Caleb, Cade, Carson, Caia, Chase, Carter, Jack, Dani, Aaron, Willow and Christopher; and his sister Joan Stillinger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home & Cremation Service (105 E Loula St, Olathe, KS 66061). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel Funeral Service. The military honors will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Newcomer's Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens (13901 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations of new Lego kits or contributions to the "Fill The Turtle Tank" Lego drive through the Teaming Up For Tanner Foundation, Inc., in support of children with cancer at Children's Mercy Hospital.
