Frances Long Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Long in Olathe, Kansas, born in Junction City, Kansas, who passed away on August 19, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Patrick Gorman and Frances Gorman (Oliver); and her grandmother Ginny. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth E. Long of Olathe; her sisters, Virginia Ovenstone of Lawrence and Katherine Zlogar (Jim) of Kalispell, Montana.; her sons, Ted Long (Colleen) of Lindsborg, Kansas, Carl Long (Brenda) and Kurt Long (Beth) of Olathe, Kansas.; and her great-aunt Tootie. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (210 E 6th St, Chapman, KS 67431). A rosary will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
