He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther P. Snyder (Bruns) and Arthur R. Snyder. He is survived by: his wife Betsy Snyder; his children, Christa Gipson (Terry) of Paola, KS, Cathy Drake (Kris) of Olathe, KS and Robert Snyder (Kari) of Louisburg, KS; his grandchildren, Dustin Gipson (Drew), Joshua Unger (Erica), Ryan Gipson (Robin), Courtney Unger, Jacquelynn Gipson (Katie), Samuel Rew (Allana), Ashtyn Bray (Adam) and Wesley Snyder; his sibling's children, Scott Snyder (Jane), Leslie Smoots (Arnie), Erin Roper (Ted), John Edmondson, Billy Edmondson (Sarah) and Tracy Abrams (Matt); his brother Gary Snyder; and his sister-in-law Amy Nicely. He is also survived by Many loving great grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the DeSoto United Methodist Church (8760 Kill Creek Rd, De Soto, KS 66018). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
