He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Ruhnke and Lillian Ruhnke (Mead); his father-in-law Frank McCoy; and his half-brother Corkie Ivy. He is survived by: his wife Debbie McCoy; his children, Eric and Cindy; his child-in-law Chris; his grandsons, Caden and Cody Gaertner; and his mother-in-law Mary McCoy. He is also survived by his four sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to: Cure of Ars Catholic Church or St John Paul II Academy in Olathe.
