He was predeceased by: his daughter Mary Evelyn Snitow; his parents, George Earl and Mary Maxwell (Hargitt); his siblings, Eva Loree Holaday, Mary Louise Sorenson, Howard Laverne Maxwell and Leonard Chester Maxwell; his siblings-in-law, Karen Maxwell, Raymond Holaday, Rexford Sorenson, Richard Hadland and Carroll Wilkerson; his wife Evelyn; and also, Harry and Florence Westhoff.
He is survived by: his nephew Larry Maxwell; his children, Gregory (Cheryl), Cynthia (Paul Curtin) and Stephanie (Paul Zaffuts); his son-in-law Martin Snitow; his grandchildren, Julian Jacob Snitow, Melinda Elaine Snitow (Kobey Shwayder), Alexandra Mae Zaffuts and Jessica Ann Zaffuts; his sisters, Anita Bray and Luella Hadland; and his siblings-in-law, Marlene Maxwell, Roseann Maxwell, Vivian Wilkerson and William Bray.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Mary Hargitt Maxwell Endowed Scholarship Fund (Kansas Wesleyan University) or any organization of your choice.
