He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Charlean Nelson and Donnell Lewis; and his stepson Alonzo Stewart. He is survived by: his wife Betty Sue Nelson; his son Antonio Donnell Harris (Amanda) of Owensboro, KY; his stepson Michael Lee Stewart of Columbus, OH; his sister Carolyn J. Cardwell; and his aunts, Lula Bell Stokes and Mary Helen Gordon of Moreno Valley, CA. He is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends, neighbors.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062).
